TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR WEDDING GOWN RENTALS
Thank you for choosing Hadassah Bridals. By renting a gown from
us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read
carefully.
1. Rental Duration

Rentals within Lagos: Pick-up and return must be completed
within 4 days.

Rentals outside Lagos: Pick-up and return must be completed
within 6 days.

Rentals for international events: Pick-up and return must be
completed within 14 days.
- Late returns will incur a fee of ₦2,000 per day.
2. Caution Fees and Refunds
Caution Fees:
- ₦20,000 for weddings within Lagos.
- ₦30,000 for weddings outside Lagos.
- ₦150,000 for international weddings.
Refunds:

Caution fees are refunded within 24 hours after the gown and all
accessories are returned in good condition.

Refunds are not applicable if the gown or accessories are
damaged, lost, or returned late.
3. Measurements and Fittings

Clients are required to either:

Submit accurate measurements using the Measurement Guide
provided by Hadassah Bridals.

Schedule an in-store appointment for measurements to ensure
accuracy.

Brides must attend a mandatory fitting session at least 2–3
weeks before the wedding date.

Brides who send in their own measurements acknowledge that the
dress may require adjustments to ensure the perfect fit. The
cost of these alterations will be borne by the bride.
4. Alterations Policy

Alterations for rentals are limited to adjusting dresses in
stock to fit if they are too big or too small.

Any additional alterations beyond the agreed adjustments must be
approved in advance and paid for by the bride.

All alterations are carried out exclusively by Hadassah Bridals'
designated designer and seamstress. External alterations are not
permitted.

Delays in attending fittings or approving alterations caused by
the bride may impact delivery timelines.
5. Payment and Cancellations
- Payments or deposits for rentals are non-refundable.

Full payment is required before gowns are released for any
pre-wedding purposes, including fittings or church inspections.

If a client refuses necessary alterations or fitting sessions,
Hadassah Bridals reserves the right to cancel the rental
agreement without a refund.
6. Dressing Up and Styling Services

Brides may request on-site dressing up or styling services on
their wedding day for an additional fee.

This service must be booked in advance, and the fee will be
communicated at the time of booking.

Styling services include assisting with the gown, veil, and
other accessories to ensure a flawless appearance.
7. Care and Responsibility
- All rented items must be handled with utmost care.

Gowns must be returned in the condition they were received, with
no unauthorized alterations, stains, or damage.

Clients are responsible for the full replacement cost of the
gown in cases of damage beyond repair, loss, or theft.
8. Included Accessories
-
Accessories such as bouquets, veils, petticoats, tiaras, and
garment bags provided as part of the rental package must be
returned in good condition.

Missing or damaged accessories will be charged to the client at
their full replacement cost.
9. Media and Social Media Usage
Submission of Media:

Brides are encouraged to share pictures and videos of their
wedding featuring the rented gown.

By submitting pictures or videos, the bride grants Hadassah
Bridals permission to use the content for promotional purposes,
with appropriate credit given.
Social Media Tags:
-
Brides posting pictures or videos of their wedding gown on
social media are requested to tag @HadassahBridals in their
posts.
10. Refund and Dispute Resolution

Refunds for caution fees are processed only after gowns and
accessories are returned in good condition.

Disputes or concerns regarding fittings, alterations, or rentals
must be reported immediately to the Customer Service Manager for
resolution.

Hadassah Bridals reserves the right to offer store credit or
alternative solutions in lieu of cash refunds, depending on the
situation.
11. Liability and Disclaimer

While Hadassah Bridals ensures the quality and condition of all
rented items, clients acknowledge that gowns are subject to wear
and may require alterations for a perfect fit.

By accepting these terms, clients agree that refusal of
necessary alterations or unauthorized alterations does not
warrant a refund.
12. Governing Law
-
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the
Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Any disputes arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of
Nigerian courts.
